Agile Leadership Workshop: by Syed Nazir Razik & M.Parvez Alam

Overview:

In this workshop, participants will learn the various Agile Leadership traits, tools and techniques. There is a famous quote from Warren Bennis that, “Management is getting people to do what needs to be done. Leadership is getting people to want to do what needs to be done”. The difference between the two environments is like trying to pull a rope (when people want to do what needs to be done) rather than pushing a rope (when people are simply told what to do). As Leaders, we can help to create a productive project environment by using practices like modelling the behaviour we want the team to follow, using different communication tools to express the project vision, enabling stakeholders to act, and being willing to challenge the status quo. In this workshop, the participants will be given more practical exposure to the various principles of Agile Leadership.
