Description About The Topics & Speakers
Topic 1: Northern Trust India Transformation to Distributed Agile
Brief on topic:
Northern Trust started on its agile journey in India right along with start of the India Technology team. The India team started with values trainings, and then moved to starting up a Scrum team and to creating a framework for the India center.
Speaker: Dhiren Kapadia
Dhiren started his IT career in the traditional way as a developer, team lead and then manager. Around 2013 got introduced to agile during the agile transformation of the department that he was part of when he got his CSM. Thereafter he got interested in reading and learning about agile, unlearning several things along the way. Got so interested that he got certified on SPS (Scaled Professional Scrum), KMP (Kanban Management Professional) and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
Topic 2: Agile Transformation – Our Experience
Brief on topic:
The session will cover observations and experiences of Agile coaches – Both those yielded positive results and other that yielded not so positive results. The session will focus on what were the drivers for undertaking the transformation, ground Reality Scenarios, outcome expectations and distributed nature of Agile teams. The session will also cover inputs on how the team is measuring the outcome of Agile transformation.
Prasad Sindkar –
Prasad is an accomplished professional with experience in Agile Coaching/Consulting Agile Methodologies Project Management. He has also worked on Account Management Leading QA Teams Go-To-Market Partner. Prasad has diverse experience in coaching, consulting and leading agile projects.
Pramod Goggi –
Pramod is an Agile Coach and an Agile Change Agent in Persistent Systems. He has 14+ years’ experience in IT industry with sound technical knowledge in design and development in telecom, media, and cloud / mobility domain. Pramod is holding a Master’s degree in Computer Science
